What is Fluid Pricing?
At Tartan Travel we’re dedicated to providing our customers with the best possible value breaks. As part of this, you’ll find that many of our tours are now “Early Booking Offers”. This means that the first seats of the coach will be available for an incredible price, with the price increasing as the coach fills up.
As with low cost
airlines the earlier you book the less you pay. Yes, that’s right we will reward you for booking early. You no longer need to hold off to get a late discount or a meagre generic 10% off a month before departure and indeed risk the break selling out.
By booking early we will be giving you the opportunity to save.
Taking our popular 5 Day York at Wheatlands break now on sale for 2023 as an example let us consider what you might pay:

0-6 seats £249
7-12 seats £279
13-26 seats £299
31-40 seats £319
40+ seats £339
So, for example, the first 6 people to book pay just £249, the next 6 £279 and so on. The final 10 or so seats will sell at £339. Therefore the first six clients pay £90 less than those booking the last seats.

Remember the earlier you book the less you pay. The price will fluctuate as the bookings come in, so it pays to book as early as possible.
Seasonal Differences
The time of year you would like to travel in will affect the price. For example, holidays in the summer or in busy periods of the year may be more expensive than holidays in quieter months.
